LOAN FROM ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK
ADB has approved
a Railway Sector loan of US $ 313.6 million. The loan agreement
has not yet been signed. The loan will be used primarily for funding
of projects under the investment initiative of Strengthening of
Golden Quadrilateral, which is a part of the National Rail Vikas
Yojana.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya
in a written reply to a question from Shri A.P. Jithender Reddy
in the Lok Sabha today.
