An outlay of Rs. 0.80 crore has been proposed for the work in the Budget 2003-2004. The work would be taken up after the budget is passed by the Parliament. However, no target date has been fixed for completion of the project.

Road linkages to the proposed terminal are to be finalized by State Government of West Bengal.
