The Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Smt. Sushma Swaraj has condoled the death of renowned film and television actress Priya Tendulkar who passed away in Mumbai today. In her condolence message, Smt. Swaraj said that Priya Tendulkar rose to fame after her sterling performance in tele-serial ‘Rajini’ on Doordarshan. She, in fact, contributed a lot for creating keen awareness among masses about their rights as consumers. Her contribution towards television and films as an artist testify to her creative brilliance, the Minister said.
