THAN 600 ELECTION PASSES ISSUED FOR THE COVERAGE OF J & K
ELECTIONS
Election Commission has provided more than 600
passes to the media persons for the coverage of Jammu and Kashmir
elections. 358 passes were provided to Chief Electoral Officer
of Jammu and Kashmir for the media persons. Out of this, 72 passes
were issued to the media persons in Jammu region only. Initially
some delay was reported in receipt of election card to the media
persons in Jammu, to avoid that later passes were directly delivered
at Jammu.
Delhi based media and foreign journalists have
been issued 260 election passes so far through Press Information
Bureau.
