P.M. CONDOLES THE DEATH OF VAZHAPADI K RAMAMURTHY

The Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has expressed deep grief at the demise of veteran trade union leader and a former Union Petroleum Minister, Shri Vazhapadi K. Ramamurthy, who died in Chennai today. In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said that Shri Ramamurthy worked hard throughout his life towards ameliorating the condition of the working class and made significant contribution in the trade union movement as also in other nation-building activities. He was an able administrator and social worker who will be missed by all.
