FESTIVAL OF INDIAN DANCE
AT PURANA QILA
Delhi will witness
a unique festival of Indian Classical Dance – ANANYA – the Unparalleled,
featuring India’s premiere dance groups in each of the seven major
Indian dance forms. The festival is being presented by Ministry
of Tourism in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and
Forests and Delhi Tourism is being held at the Purana Qila monument
in New Delhi from the 23rd to the 29th October,

The uniqueness of
this presentation is that the dancers will be virtually interacting
with the monument – giving a feel of a dialogue with the heritage
monument and site specific choreography highlighting the monument
and the given dance form. One dance form will be showcased each
evening.

Classical Dance forms at one of India’s major heritage sites,
which will be richly lit highlighting the beauty and aesthetics
of both monument and the form. To enable the delegates to reach

evening to the Purana Qila. A brochure highlighting the various
Dance forms and their origins and write-ups on each dancer would
also be distributed at the time of check in at the Hotels.
