BHEL PAYS RS. 66.3 CRORE DIVIDEND

Shri K.G. Ramachandran, CMD, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) today presented a dividend cheque for Rs. 66.3 crore to Shri Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, Minister for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. The dividend corresponds to the 67.72 per cent equity held by the Government of India. BHEL earned Rs. 663 crore as Profit Before Tax and the Earnings Per Share was Rs. 19.12.
