NCC DELEGATION RETURNS FROM RUSSIA

The first ever National Cadet Corps (NCC) delegation to Russia has returned back after taking part in Youth Exchange Programme. The Delegation comprises of two officers and ten cadets. The cadets were hosted by the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Education Government of the Federation of Russia from September 23 to October 02, 2002. During their stay in Russia the Cadets visited various parts of the country. The members of the delegation got the opportunity to interaction with the members of the First Cadets Corps of the Rescuers, Youth Organisation and selected dignitaries from the cities of Moscow and Tula. The Cadets also visited places of topical and tourist interest, witnessed renowned Russian ballet and circus performance during their visit.

The members of the delegation called on Lt Gen BK Bopanna Director General NCC here today. Gen Bopanna welcomed them back and lauded their efforts in bringing glory to the country
