under which C-DAC proposed to set up a Centre of Excellence to

The C-SAC so established would be a Centre of premier research,
consultancy and training institution in the field of Information
& Communication Technologies (ICT). It would be a Centre of
Excellence for high quality IT training and related development
activities for Mauritius. It will also help in the development
of human resources by training personnel and building requisite
skills for spreading the use of information technology in Mauritius.
The Centre would also help promote e-governance in partnership
with the University of Mauritius.
