– FRENCH JOINT EXERCISE

The Indian Air Force
(IAF) will conduct a combat exercise with France in Gwalior next
year. IAF personnel have been trained by the air forces of friendly
countries on reciprocal basis, as part of international defence
cooperation. The major countries with which IAF has such defence
cooperation programmes are USA, UK, France, Russia, Australia
etc.
This information
was given by the Defence Minister Shri George Fernandes in a written
reply to Shri Nana Deshmukh in Rajya Sabha today.
