ALL INDIA CONSUMER
PRICE INDEX FOR AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL LABOURERS IN TWENTY STATES
RAJYA SABHA
West
Bengal in respect of Agricultural Labourers experienced sharpest
increase of 5 points whereas Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir
and West Bengal in respect of Rural Labourers experienced sharpest
increase of 4 points each during October 2002. On the other hand,
Haryana and Punjab in respect of Agricultural Labourers and Punjab
in respect of Rural Labourers recorded maximum decrease of 2 points
each. The All India Consumer Price Index for Agricultural and
Rural Labourers (Base 1986-87 = 100) during October 2002 is as
follows :-
