PM CONDOLES THE DEATH OF JAGDAMBI PRASAD YADAV
The Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee
has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of veteran freedom
fighter and former Union Minister of State and Member of Lok Sabha
Jagdambi Prasad Yadav, who breathed his last at Coimbatore today.
In his message, Shri Vajpayee said that Jagdambi
Prasadji was a dedicated nationalist with a strong commitment
to the well-being of the downtrodden and the socially under privileged.
His role in freedom struggle and later in various nation building
activities particularly in the field of co-operatives, education
and health-are will always be remembered. In his death, the nation
has lost a political and social thinker who always fought for
the cause of social justice, the rime Minister added.
