DR. JOSHI EXPRESSES DEEP REGRET OVER THE DEATH OF SHRI KRISHAN KANT

The Minister for Human Resource Development & Science and Technology, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi has expressed deep regret over the sudden death of the Vice President, Shri Krishan Kant. In a condolence message, Dr. Joshi described him as a great national leader who always stood for democratic values and Parliamentary traditions.

In his demise, the country has lost one of those great men who belonged to the generation which believed in value based politics, simple living, swadeshi and commitment to national unity, integrity and high traditions. I had four decades of long association with him and in his death, I had lost an elder brother whose love and affection always gave me inspiration and strength.

Dr. Joshi’s message adds that Shri Krishan Kant’s contribution as Chairman of Rajya Sabha will always be remembered.
