ARJUN CHARAN SETHI CONDOLES THE DEATH OF SHRI KRISHAN KANT


In a condolence message, the Union Minister of Water Resources, Shri Arjun Charan Sethi has deeply condoled the sudden death of Shri Krishan Kant, H.E. Vice-President of India. In his condolence message, Shri Sethi said that, in the death of Shri Krishan Kant, the country has lost a statesman of prominence and a great freedom fighter. During his tenure as the Vice-President of India, he had very successfully and ably conducted the business of the Upper House and enhanced the prestige and honour of the Chair. By his amiable and affable nature, he had endeared himself to all sections of Members of Parliament cutting across party lines. His association with "Servant of India Society" and leading Oriya daily "Samaj" for furthering the cause of humanity will always be cherished. His contribution as freedom fighter, statesman and social worker will always be remembered by the nation, Shri Sethi added.
