UP OF AUTO LPG DISPENSING STATIONS

Gangwar, Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas in
a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, today informed that Hindustan
Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has the plan to set up 40
Auto LPG Dispensing Stations (ALDS) in the country including 15
in Delhi by the end of March, 2003.
Shri Gangwar
further informed that the Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies
have planned to set up 228 ALDS in the major cities across the
country by the end of March, 2004. However, commissioning of these
ALDSs also depends upon the market demand. HPCL would be setting
up these ALDSs in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat,
Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu and West Bengal.
