TAPAN SIKDAR TAKES OVER AS MINISTER OF STATE FOR CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS

Shri Tapan Sikdar today took over as the Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers.

He called on the Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Shri S.S.Dhindsa.

Before taking over the new assignment Shri Sikdar was Minister of State for Information Technology and Communications.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers met Shri Sikdar.

Shri Tapan Sikdar will be briefed by senior officers of the Ministry tomorrow morning on the issues and activities relating to the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
