The President Dr.
APJ Abdul Kalam today greeted fellow citizens on the auspicious
occasion of Christmas, which will be celebrated tomorrow.
In a Message,
the President said, "Every year Christmas brings cheer and
joy to the world community irrespective of wherever they are.
It is the day to remember a great life – Jesus Christ and his
sacrifices. Jesus said, "We Human beings are the salt of
the earth".
This day, I request
all the citizens of my country to spare a smile and bring cheer
to those who are in need of help. Those especially needing a smile
and cheer are the inmates of old age homes and children affected
by terrorism. Generosity brings happiness to those who give and
receive alike.
On this joyous
occasion, I wish all the citizens of my country a very happy Christmas.
