on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw was presented to Prime
Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee by it’s author Lt. Gen. Depinder
Singh here today.
The Volume deals
with the heroic and visionary leadership of Field Marshal Manekshaw
in the Indo-Pak war of 1971 which culminated in the surrender
of Pakistani forces.
A number of senior
journalists and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
