PORT DEVELOPMENT UNDER BOT SCHEME

18 projects have been approved for development of various ports through private sector participation in major ports, namely Jawaharlal Nehru, Mumbai, Kandla, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Tuticorin, Paradip, Mormugao, New Mangalore and Kolkata. Out of these, the folllowing 7 projects have been commissioned/completed so for:-

1. Container Terminal at Jawaharlal Nehru Port
2. Liquid Cargo Berth at Jawaharlal Nehru Port.
3. 5^th Oil Jetty (Indian Farmer Fertilisers Corporation) at Kandla Port
4. Oil Jetty (Indian Oil Corporation Limited) at Kandla Port.
5. Container Terminal at Tuticorin Port (7^th Berth).
6. Captive Berth (Oswal Chemicals & Fertilizers) at Paradip Port.
7. Container Terminal, Chennai Port.

The other 11 projects are under various stages of implementation.
