MY MINISTRY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING THAT ADVERSELY AFFECT COMMON MAN IN DELHI - ANANTH KUMAR

55 MORE PARKS IN DELHI IN THE NEXT 18 MONTHS


Union Minister for Urban Development, Shri Ananth Kumar today inaugurated Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Park in Saraswati Garden of Kirti Nagar in the capital. This park development by Delhi Development Authority at a cost of Rs. 40 Lakh on a area of around 5 acres has been developed in a record time of less than 1 year.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ananth Kumar said that his Ministry that would adversely affect common man in Delhi would take no action. He sought the co-operation and help of the Delhi public in implementing various activities related to development of Delhi. Shri Ananth Kumar also said that in the last 15 months since he assumed the charge of the Ministry of Urban Development 64 parks have been developed in Delhi and in the next 18 months 55 more parks would be developed and named after eminent personalities.

Among others who were present on the occasion were Shri Madan Lal Khurana, Member of Parliament, Shri Subhash C. Sharma, and Vice Chairman of Delhi Development Authority.
