RAJYA SABHA
The Army Headquarters
have recommended procurement of surveillance equipments along
the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir. Accordingly
surveillance equipments like Battle Field Surveillance Radars,
Hand Held Thermal Imagers and Unattended Ground Sensors are being
procured and deployed along LoC.
This information
was given by the Defence Minister Shri George Fernandes in a written
reply to Shri P Prabhakar Reddy in Rajya Sabha today.
