The Prime Minister,
Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has greeted the nation on the auspicious
and joyous occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
In a message
issued here today, the Prime Minister said that the festival marks
the culmination of the month of Ramzan - a month during which
the holy Quran was revealed. The festival brings with it the message
of universal peace, tolerance, brotherhood and compassion, the
Prime Minister added. Shri Vajpayee hoped that Id celebrations
would inspire people from all walks of life to rededicate themselves
to the task of strengthening communal harmony and nation building
with renewed vigour.
