The President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
has greeted people on the occasion of Idul Fitr which falls tomorrow
or Day After (depending on sighting of Moon).
In a message, he said, "After prayers
and fasting for 30 days, Idul Fitr is the day for thanking the
Almighty and spreading His love among fellow human beings, through
prayers, goodwill, generosity, kindness and charity. On this happy
occasion of the festival of Eid, I send my greetings and best
wishes to all our people in India and abroad."
