RAJYA SABHA
The first cycle of
coordinated patrol by Indian and Indonesia Navies took place from
Sep 02, 2002 to Sep 30, 2002. In future, the joint patrolling
will be undertaken depending upon the need and mutual convenience.
This information

reply to Smt NP Durga in Rajya Sabha today.
MODERNIZATION OF
IAF
The Indian Air Force
(IAF) has formulated a modernisation plan to enhance its combat
aircraft strength in terms of quality as well as quantity. Plans
are in hand to augment squadron Force levels, for upgradation
of existing fleet and for induction of force multipliers like
UAVs. It would not be in the national interest to disclose further
details.
