The Vice President Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will tomorrow release, a fortnightly newsletter in Hindi "Grameen Bharat" being brought out the Ministry of Rural Development for effective dissemination of information. The newsletter covering details of the plans and programmes of the Ministry will help increase the awareness among the functionaries of Gram Panchayats and others interested in issues relating to Rural Development. The newsletter to be made available to the Panchayats is also expected to open a two-way communication with the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). The newsletter besides providing up to date information on the schemes, will also feature success stories, newsmakers in the PRIs and innovative ideas.
