MINISTER FOR YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS SHRI VIKRAM VERMA CONGRATULATES INDIAN TEAM FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE


The Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Vikram Verma has congratulated Sourav Ganguly, Captain of Indian Cricket team on India’s victory against England at the third cricket test at Headingley. Soon after becoming the Minister, in a message Shri Verma said that the entire country is happy on the performance of the victorious team. He said that under the captainship of Sourav Ganguly, Indian cricket will achieve new heights in the future.

Yesterday’s victory was India’s biggest win since beating Australia by an innings and two runs at the Sydney Cricket Ground in 1977-78 and its 18th win outside India.
