CLEARANCE TO BATESHWAR STHAN PUMP CANAL SCHEME

The Government of Bihar submitted "Bateshwar Sthan Pump Canal Pump Scheme" for Central Loan Assistance (CLA) under the Accelerated Irrigation Benefits Programme (AIBP) for Rs. 103.10 crore for the year 2002-03 to the Field Office of Central Water Commission at Patna. The same was examined and returned to the State Government with comments. Projects recommended by the Central Water Commission confirming to the norms of AIBP are considered for providing CLA under AIBP on year to year basis.

This information was given by the Union Minister for Water Resources, Shri Arjun Charan Sethi in a written reply to question from Shri Lalu Prasad in the Rajya Sabha today.
