PM GREETS PEOPLE ON GURU NANAK'S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

The Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of the Guru Nanak Jayanti.

In his message, the Prime Minister said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji provided a new direction and strength to humanity to rise above hate and narrow mindedness. The Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak is an occasion for us to re-dedicate ourselves to his message of deep-rooted humanism, compassion and tolerance, the Prime Minister added.
