The Prime Minister, Shri Atal
Bihari Vajpayee has expressed deep grief on the sad demise of
former Vice-President of India, Shri B.D. Jatti.
In his condolence message, the Prime
Minister said Shri B.D. Jatti in his long and distinguished career
enriched various facets of public life. He worked relentlessly
for the well-being of the rural and the deprived sections and
made significant contribution in the fields of land reforms, health
and labour welfare. He will always be remembered for his administrative
acumen and his dedication to the cause of social upliftment, the
Prime Minister added.
