EXHIBITION ON INDIAN SYSTEMS OF MEDICINE AND HOMEOPATHY TO BEGIN FROM TOMORROW


The Department of Indian Systems of Medicine & Homeopathy (ISM&H) and India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) are jointly organising a comprehensive Exhibition "Arogya" on Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Yoga and Naturopathy from 11-15 December, 2002 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Shri A. Raja.

Highlighting the objectives of the exhibition Secretary ISM&H Smt. Malti Sinha said that idea is to project India’s capabilities and requirements in healthcare and traditional system of medicine along with allopathy. This would enable the practitioners of various systems of medicines to learn from each other and present the research and development efforts of various institutions and agencies.

The exhibition would have participation by drug manufacturing industry, equipment manufacturing industry, eminent publishers and booksellers of ISM&H and manufacturers of natural foods, Research Institutes under this Department. Over 70 such units including the Department of Family Welfare would exhibit their products / services during the exhibition.
