for me Rising India means the rise of self respect of 1.25 billion people of the country, it is the rise of the self-esteem of the country. And when the will power, the resolves of these 1.25 billion people unite the impossible becomes possible, the extremely difficult task becomes achievable.

The light that has come into the lives of the people of Eastern India, this path, the path of - from Isolation to Integration - will further brighten Rising India.

the India of 21st century can move forward by leaving behind its weaknesses, that the India of 21st century can move forward by breaking down its shackles and it can realise the dream of Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat. And this strong belief of people is the basis for a Rising India.

Rising India is not just two words for the world. These two words symbolises the power of 1.25 billion Indians which has been applauded by the entire world today.

Millions and millions of ordinary people, the makers of a New India by carrying the smell of India’s soil inside them are our Vivekanands of modern times.

If you want Wealth with Wellness, work in India; if you want Peace with Prosperity, live in India; if you want Wealth with Wholesome life, be in India.

The new India that I am talking about is also the dream of Babasaheb - the India with equal opportunity and equal rights for all, the India free from the bondage of caste system, the India progressing with the power of Technology and the India following the concept of inclusive development- Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas.

We are among the top FDI destinations listed by UNCTAD.

In order to take India to new heights in the 21st century, in order to make it a New India all of us will have to make a pledge. The pledge of working together. The pledge to strengthen each other.

To my young entrepreneur friends from India, I would like to say: each of you has something valuable to contribute towards creating a New India by 2022. You are vehicles of change and instruments of India’s transformation.

The poorest of the poor people of the country are going to get a big relief through the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Nearly 10 crore families, it means nearly 45-50 crore citizens will be free from the concerns for the cost of treatment. If anybody falls sick, the expenses up to Rs. 5 lakh in a year will be collectively borne by the Government of India and the insurance company.

The rich diversity of our tradition provides us that support which is extremely essential in the fight against the challenges like terrorism and extremism in today’s world which is full of uncertainties and apprehensions; which has been plagued by violence and malice. This legacy of us and our values, the message of our religions and their principles are those powers on the basis of which we can overcome the challenges like violence and terrorism.

Life is short and uncertain but death is certain. Therefore, we should set a resolution and commit our lives to it.

Friends, only when we are clear about our purpose in life, we will be able to prove something and contribute to the society. If our goals are not clear, we will not be able to achieve it. If you are confused about which train to board after reaching the platform, you can neither reach your destination nor frame your itinerary.

This means that it is very important to create a link between our past and the future. The stronger is the bond with our tradition; the stronger will be the youth of the country.

Today, when we have been trying to find the ways to tackle the challenge of climate change then we shall have to look at the comprehensive approach and balance of the ancient philosophy.

In the world’s largest Democracy, India, Democracy is not just a political system but it is also the fundamental basis of equality, diversity and concord. Indian democracy is a celebration of our age old plurality. This is that power because of which every Indian has respect for country’s glorious past, he believes in the present and is confident about its future.

In India, it is our effort to take everyone along for the sake of everyone’s progress. It is because the destiny of the entire country is linked with the progress of every citizen. It is because the happiness of the country is linked with everyone’s happiness.

The Goods and Services Tax, or GST, has eliminated the multiplicity of taxes. India has jumped thirty ranks this year, in the World Bank Doing Business rankings. This is the highest ever improvement for India, and the highest jump for any country this year. From a rank of 142 in 2014, we have now reached the top 100.

With GST, we are moving towards a modern tax regime, which is transparent, stable and predictable.

The government has been doing all these things because the more formal, the more transparent the system will become it will be equally beneficial to the poor.

The movement against terrorism, extremism and radicalisation is not against any sect. It is against that mentality that misleads our youth and drives them to commit crimes against the innocent.

Holistic happiness and all round development are only possible when you will see that the Muslim youths have Quran Sharif on one hand and computer on the other. The essence of religion can never be inhuman. Every sect, every creed, every tradition exists only for advancing the human values. Therefore, the need of the hour is while on the one hand to connect our youths to a humane Islam make them use modern science for progress on the other.

Radicalization can be tackled only with integration. Steps are being taken by our government so that no community or section of the society feels alienated. However, the entire country should strive to strengthen the spirit of unity.

I consider the youth as equal to the divine power. I believe that Youth is not a situation or just the age in terms of years but a mental state.
