The Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has expressed shock and grief at the loss of lives in Lucknow on Friday night, following consumption of spurious liquor.

In a condolence message, Shri Vajpayee expressed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families. Describing the incident as unfortunate, the Prime Minister has expressed the hope that such incidents do not recur in the future.
