RAJASTHAN GETS SECOND INSTALLMENT
OF FUNDS UNDER SGRY
Ministry of Rural
Development has released Funds to the State Government of Rajasthan
under Sampoorna Grameen Rojgar Yojana (SGRY-I Stream). An amount
of Rs. 16.75 crore has been released as second installment of
funds to the 21 districts of Rajasthan during 2003-2004. These
districts are Alwar, Baran, Barmer, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh,
Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer,
Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Pali, Rajasamand, S. Madhopur, Sikkar,
Sirohi, Udaipur.
The cash expenditure
on the implementation of the programme is to be shared 75.25 basis
between the Centre and the State respectively. The State Government
should release to the district the State cash share within a fortnight
of the date of release of the Central assistance.
