FOODGRAINS RELEASED TO NAGALAND UNDER
SGRY
Ministry of Rural Development
has released 1089 tonnes of common Wheat and 1089 tonnes of common
Rice as first installment of foodgrains to 3 districts of Nagaland
under Sampoorna Grammeen Rojgar Yojana (SGRY) during 2003-2004.
These districts are Dimapur, Mon and Zuneboto. The first installment
is the 75% of the total allocation of foodgrains to the each district
through FCI depots in the State.
The First Stream
of the Programme is being implemented at the District and Intermediate
level Panchayats.
