VICE PRESIDENT CONDOLES THE DEATH OF SHRI K.R MALKANI

Vice President Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has condoled the passing away of Shri K.R Malkani. He said "I am deeply grieved to learn about the passing away of your revered father, Shri K.R Malkani, Lt. Governor of Pondicherry. His eminence as a social worker, a parliamentarian, an administrator, a journalist and above all a noble human being having deep commitment to our national ethos, has been widely acknowledged. In his death, the country has lost a respected public figure and I have lost a very dear friend.

I pray to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul. I pay my respectful homage to his sacred memory.

My wife joins me in sending our deep and heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family. We pray that God give you and all the members of the family to bear this irreparable loss with courage and fortitude."
