PRESIDENT CONDOLES DEATH OF PONDICHERRY

The President Dr.
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has condoled the death of the Lt. Governor
of Pondicherry Shri K.R. Malkani. In a condolence message to the
late Lt. Governor’s son Shri Arvind Malkani, the President has
said that he was deeply grieved to learn about the sudden passing
away of Shri K.R. Malkani.
In another condolence
message to the Chief Minister of Pondicherry Shri N.Rangasamy
the President has said that he had known Shri Malkani as a multi-faceted
personality who took genuine interest in development works in
the Union Territory of Pondicherry. His passing away is a great
loss to all of us particularly to the people of Pondicherry.
