The Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri Vikram Verma and the Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri Vijay Goel have congratulated the ace shooter, Anjali Vedpathak Bhagwat, for bagging gold at World Cup Final in Milan, Italy in Air Rifle event.

In a message the Ministers said that Anjali has done India proud. They said, "May you continue to bring more laurels for the country including an Olympic medal at 2004 Athens Olympics. The nation stands besides you in this moment of glory".

Anjali Bhagwat has already qualified for Athens Olympics 2004 and will be participating in the Afro-Asian Games at Hyderabad.
