SHRI PRASAD CONDOLES THE DEATH OF VIRENDER NARAYAN

The Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad has condoled the death of veteran freedom fighter, writer, journalist, theatre artist and former Director of the Song and Drama Division, Shri Virender Narayan, who passed away yesterday at his residence here.

In a condolence message, Shri Prasad said that Shri Narayan was a multi-dimensional personality who devoted his entire life to the cause of theatre and journalism.

The country has lost a multi-faceted personality who will always be remembered for his creative work, the Minister added.
