NALCO ACHIEVES HIGHEST EVER MONTHLY PRODUCTION IN OCTOBER

National Aluminium Company Ltd., a public sector unit of the Ministry of Mines achieved production of 25,764 MT Aluminium Cast Metal during October 2003, which is the highest ever-monthly production since inception of the company. This also exceeds the monthly target of producing 23,950 MT Aluminium Cast Metal. Domestic metal sale at 14,344 MT and total metal sale at 24,091 MT during the month of October, 2003 also exceed the monthly target.
