RECRUITMENT BOARD, JAMMU-SRINAGAR EXAMINATIONS FOR GROUP-D POSTS
The Railway Recruitment
Board (RRB), Jammu-Srinagar had issued Notification for holding
written examination for Group-D posts on November 16 and 23, 2003
in Jammu, Jallandhar and Amrtisar for which call letters have
already been mailed to the candidates.
The Ministry of Railways
has now decided for the convenience of candidates coming from
places/districts in and around Kashmir Valley that those who do
not wish to appear from Jammu, Amritsar and Jallandhar may send
their option for appearing at Srinagar. The examination is likely
to be held on or from December 14, 2003.
Candidates who desire
to change their venue for the examinations to be held on November
16 and 23, 2003 are required to apply for allotment of examination
centers at Srinagar to the Assistant Secretary, Railway Recruitment
Board, Jammu-Srinagar by ordinary post only to reach on or before
5.00 PM on November 28, 2003, enclosing a copy of call letter
or at least quoting the roll number or control number indicated
in the call letter. However, those candidates from places/districts
in and around Kashmir Valley who appear in examination on the
date/place notified in their call letters will not be allowed
a repeat chance at Srinagar.
Date and venue of
examination will be intimated to individual candidates by fresh
call letters. Notification to this effect is being issued by Railway
Recruitment Board, Jammu-Srinagar in the newspapers.
