PRIME MINISTER GREETS PEOPLE ON GURU NANAK'S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

The Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has greeted the people on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.

In his message, the Prime Minister said that Guru Nanak Devji showed humanity the way to rise above the narrow considerations of caste and community. His teachings of universal love and brotherhood continue to guide us on to the path of truthfulness, virtue and compassion. Guru Nanak’s message of humanism and tolerance will always keep on inspiring us to work for the welfare of humankind, Shri Vajpayee added.
