SHRI SURENDRA KUMAR KAPUR APPOINTED ADDITIONAL SOLICITOR GENERAL

Shri Surendra Kumar Kapur has been appointed Additional Solicitor General, Calcutta High Court. A graduate of Calcutta University, Shri Kapur took Honours Degree in Laws from London University in 1963. He was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in the same year.

Shri Kapur was enrolled as an advocate in the Calcutta High Court in 1964 and was designated Senior Advocate by the Court in 1985. He has been in the Panel of Special Counsel of the Union of India.
