HUDCO SANCTIONS RS. 10,136 CRORE FOR URBAN INFRASTRUCTURE SCHEMES
Under the memorandum of Understanding
signed with Ministry of Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation
for the years 2002-2003, a loan sanction target of Rs. 4,800 crore
and a loan release target of Rs. 3,300 crore have been set for
HUDCO. Against these targets HUDCO has sanctioned loan amount
of Rs. 10,136.56 crore for 128 urban infrastructure schemes till
January during the current year. The total project cost of these
schemes is Rs. 21,304.67 crore. HUDCO has released an amount of
Rs. 3,431.40 crore till January during the current financial year
for various urban infrastructure schemes.
