PRIVATIZATION OF TICKET RESERVATION

To facilitate rail
reservation and to improve customer service, Passenger Reservation
System (PRS) terminals have been allotted to three Rail Travellers
Service Agents (RTSAs) in Mumbai area of Central Railway on an
experimental basis. This is intended to improve customer service.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya
in a written reply to a question from Dr. Manda Jagannath in the
Lok Sabha today.
