RAJYA SABHA
Apart from the
existing Courts, a set of additional courts , known as Fast
Track Court(FTCs) have been set up for speeding up disposal
of long pending cases. 1734 such courts are to be set up, out
of which 979 have become operational so far. Government has
allocated Rs.502.90 crores for this purpose. State-wise brake-up
is as follows:
