RAILWAY OVER AND UNDER BRIDGE PROJECTS IN BIHAR
The Railways have
provided Rs.44.71 crores for over bridge and under bridge projects
in Bihar during the current financial year 2003-2004.
At present, there
are 49 and two new proposals of Railway Over Bridges and Railway
Under Bridges in the state. All these works are at different stages
of planning and execution.
Out of 71 proposals
sponsored by the State Government in February 2002, 28 proposals
qualified to be taken up on cost sharing basis between the Centre
and the State.
These projects were
sanctioned as supplementary works during 2002-2003 and two projects
during regular Budget.
