FINAL RESULTS OF NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY AND NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION-(II),
2002 ANNOUNCED
The Union Public
Service Commission has announced the results of the National Defence
Academy and Naval Academy Examination-(II), 2002. In all 475 candidates
have been selected for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force
Wings of National Defence Academy for the 110th course
and Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch) for the 30th
course, commencing from July, 2003.
There are some
common candidates in the lists for Army, Navy, Air Force and Naval
Academy. The total number of such candidates in the three lists
is 203. The number of vacancies as intimated by the Government
is 195 for Army, 39 for the Navy, 66 for the Air Force and 35
for the Naval Academy.
The results of
medical examination have not been taken into account in preparing
these lists.
The candidature
of all the candidates is provisional, subject to their submitting
the requisite certificates in support of date of birth and educational
qualifications etc., claimed by them, to the Defence authorities,
wherever this has not already been done.
