The issue of introduction of Hindi as a medium of National Defence Academy examination is at present under consideration of the Government. The question papers for NDA entrance examination are of objective type (multiple choice) and at present these are printed only in English. All the recruitment examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission except the Civil Service (Main) Examination, are held in English medium only.

This information was given by the Defence Minister Shri George Fernandes in a written reply to Shri Ram Tahal Chaudhary and Shri Haribhai Chaudhary in Lok Sabha today
