RSP LAUNCHES 100 % PLUS REWARD SCHEME
The Rourkela Steel
Plant (RSP) of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) launched
today a "Hundred Percent Plus Reward Scheme" to motivate its employees
for better capacity utilisation. Under the scheme the department
which achieves 100 per cent capacity utilisation in a month, every
employee of the department shall get a reward of Rs. 100/- for
the month. Those who will achieve capacity utilisation more than
100 per cent, an additional reward of Rs. 50/- will be given for
every additional 2 per cent. Employees of Service Departments
and all other departments would also be covered under the scheme.
The scheme comes
into force from this month and shall continue for three months
as an ad-hoc process during the second quarter of current financial
year. It will be reviewed in the first week of October. This new
scheme shall not replace any existing incentive scheme. This is
a special effort taken by Dr. Sanak Mishra, Managing Director
of the plant to increase the production and profitability.
