GAUSHALAS OF UP, MP AND HARYANA
The Union Finance
Minister, Shri Jaswant Singh today distributed amounts worth Rs.3.79
crore for 202 gaushalas of Haryana, 40 gaushalas in Uttar Pradesh
and 34 gaushalas from Madhya Pradesh. The demand drafts were handed
over to the resident commissioners of the respective state governments.
The disbursement from the National Calamity Contingency Fund is
part of the Centre’s yuhj decision to extend financial assistance
to gaushalas with 200 or more cattle heads.
